Abstract

Recurrent balanoposthitis may cause pathologic phimosis and voiding difficulty. Here we describe a 10-year-old boy presenting hesitancy and abdominal straining. He had recurrent balanoposthitis which cause voiding symptoms. Urowflowmetry showed peak flow rate was 4.5 ml/sec and voided volume was 113 ml. Under general anesthesia, cystourethroscopy demonstrated only mild bladder trabeculations. Circumcision was done as sleeve method. His voiding symptoms were improved and follow-up urowflowmetry showed peak flow rate and voided volume were 22 ml/sec
and 153 ml, respectively.
